The School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences wishes to appoint a Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow with previous clinical/practice based experience in the field of Biomedical Sciences. We are specifically interested in someone that is HCPC registered.

You will contribute towards teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels on courses including BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science, MSc Medical Biotechnology, and other related subjects. You will be committed to excellence in teaching at all levels and be willing to embrace innovative methods of learning and teaching, both online and in person. You will also make a significant contribution into the design and management of degree pathways.

The successful applicant will have drive, an innovative approach to learning and teaching, and enjoy working collaboratively in a dynamic environment. 

Although the post is available as either a Teaching Fellow or Senior Teaching Fellow, only one appointment will be made. Please note each post has a different person specification/ job description. You should also indicate in the ‘reasons for applying section’ whether you wish to be considered for the Teaching Fellow or Senior Teaching Fellow position.

The successful applicant will be appointed on the Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow scale in accordance with qualifications and experience.
