WHY SHOULD I APPLY?

The Royal College of Pathologists, together with Health Education England (HEE), are developing an innovative adaptive learning platform to support trainees and practising pathologists in digital learning – Pathology Portal (previous known as Digital Now). The College is seeking to appoint a Scientist to the Pathology Portal’s Operational Delivery group
on a sessional basis, to support the project’s activities.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

The main purpose of this role will be to contribute to the overall success of the project as well as assisting with the production of specialist content for the platform.They will be expected to attend regular project meetings and participate in specific user workshops to help inform the design and delivery of the platform and more broadly drive the Portal forward.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

The College will be seeking a Scientist with experience from a wide range of specialties over time, but in the first instance will prioritise those with expertise in areas of cellular pathology, or haematopathology.

Please note that trainees wishing to be appointed to this role should ensure to have the agreement of their supervisor or training programme director prior to being nominated.
