Based in London, the post holder will operate in the busy Viapath laboratories at King's College NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring operational functionality of the Haematology, Blood Transfusion & Coagulation work areas in the Blood Sciences Laboratory. Responsibilities also include authorisation and release of results in the Blood Sciences Laboratory. To maintain at all times the required high standards and quality and an up to date knowledge of Haematology, Coagulation and Blood Transfusion theory and current working practices, including technical problem solving of analytical equipment is required.

We are looking for someone who is HCPC registered, specialising in Haematology and Blood Transfusion to join our team.

You will have a suite of learning opportunities available through the Scientific Learning and Development Fund and the ViAcademy through which you can receive funding for advanced qualifications.

Through our Innovation Fund, you can apply for finance to get that new innovative scientific project off the ground, and participate with the wider scientific community through symposiums, conferences and other peer group meetings.
