Beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants, great facilities, good weather, less than 30 minute commute (no matter where on the island you live!) and a perfect opportunity for professional development in an IT-focused role……interested?

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to manage the portfolio of complex digital systems across the Jersey Pathology laboratories, which are crucial in the delivery of high-quality patient care.

You will play a vital role in supporting the maintenance and upgrade of hardware and software systems, and all associated development, change implementation and project management. All undertakings must adhere to the pathologies’ established quality management and change control systems to ensure good governance and performance, in line with the requirements of UKAS and MHRA accreditation standards. The role requires an individual who has a Master’s level qualification or equivalent experience in any pathology or computer-related discipline. Prior pathology knowledge and experience is not essential although experience with digital systems within a clinical environment is desirable.

Excellent problem solving and communication skills are essential, with the confidence and ability to work independently to successfully liaise with internal and external suppliers.
