We require a Band 7 Immunohistochemistry to fill our client's job in their London lab.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, lab hours 7am-7pm - staggered shift patter
Specific Skills: Histologist/Cytologist Experience Needed

Essential:
Band 7
HCPC registered

Perform inventory checks and maintain appropriate stock levels of reagents and consumables
Maintenance of the Ventana Benchmark ULTRAs and other equipment, including post servicing/breakdown re-verification documentation
Submission and review of External Quality Assurance schemes (NEQAS and NordiQC)
Guarantee compliance with the Internal Quality Controls in place
Investigation and troubleshooting of errors, including trend analysis
Carry out Audits and review documents and Standard Operating Procedures as appropriate
Ensure specialised IHC and any In-Situ Hybridisation and Molecular tests are sent to the respective reference labs
Maintain UKAS accreditation (ISO 15189)
