About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HCPC-registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist within our Histology department based at Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow. Our department operates from Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 5:15pm. We are looking for a candidate who have completed their IBMS specialist portfolio in Histopathology Department and can demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills. The successful candidate is expected to provide Histology services including dissection, embedding, microtomy, cryotomy, special stains, Immunohistochemistry & able to perform quality checks.
You will be joining our energetic, highly motivated, dynamic & passionate team of 50 people. You are expected to be proactive, motivated and a team player with an excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to progress in their careers.
We provide Cellular Pathology services to London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (one of the largest integrated NHS Trusts in the country).
We are UKAS accredited and a recognized HCPC / IBMS training laboratory.
