Biomedical Scientist (Microbiology Department)

Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital | Pathology |

Permanent | Full time

Up to £34,000 depending on experience 37.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job As a Biomedical Scientist, you will: Deliver high-quality pathology services Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients

As a Biomedical Scientist at our Warwickshire Hospital, you'll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You're also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality.

As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality pathology services
  • Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

  • You will bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You're also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality.

Experience Essential

  • Relevant post registration experience.
