Due to the growth and diversification of our Biomedical Sciences provision in the School of Clinical and Applied Sciences, we are delighted to be able to offer two part time academic posts for new Lecturer or Senior Lecturers to join our Biomedical Sciences Team. This is an ideal exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to remain in practice whilst developing an academic portfolio.
The successful candidates will join our established Biomedical Sciences team and will provide high-quality teaching and learning within Biomedical Sciences and other relevant courses within the School.
We are seeking to strengthen our experienced practitioner base within the team.
Candidates must have current professional experience (within the last 3 years) and membership of the Institute for Biomedical Sciences. We welcome applications from experienced practitioners who wish to develop an academic career.
The post holder will be funded and supported to undertake a Doctorate as part of their employment [if appointed without], and to establish or maintain a personal research profile and enterprise activities which would attract funding for the School as a member of our Centre for Biomedical Science Research.
We will be holding an informal open event on Thursday 2 August 2018 between 4pm-7pm for candidates who would like to come to meet Dr Pauline Fitzgerald, Head of Subject to ask questions. There will also be an opportunity on the evening to view the facilities and to learn more about the University.
