TEAM MANAGER (BIOCHEMISTRY) – BAND 8a
Salary scale: £42,414 - £50,470 (Plus relocation allowance)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Blood Sciences manager (specialising in biochemistry) to join us to help further develop and widen our multi-site laboratory network in the visually stunning Highlands. Accredited to ISO15189 by UKAS as a 3-site Blood Sciences service we are looking to strengthen our existing network and then to integrate a fourth Highland site, and you will be expected to work with clinicians and management as Blood Science Team Manager (specialising in the biochemistry discipline) to facilitate this while at the same time ensuring the day to day provision of a safe, effective and efficient blood science service across the network.
You will be supported by experienced Quality Management and Clinical teams, along with dedicated support staff in a forward-thinking Blood Sciences Department.
Applications will be considered from candidates from a Multidisciplinary background that can demonstrate an appropriate skill in biochemistry.
