Are you an innovative, postgraduate microbiologist who has had at least five year’s management experience and understands how to use your skills to meet the commercial needs of a thriving, long-established IVD company?

Mast Group Limited continue to invest heavily in new facilities, new product development and product improvement programmes and we welcome applications for this exciting new position.  

Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Mast Diagnostics, you will have the skills and experience necessary to head up our Research and Development section responsible for developing and delivering Group-wide products related to antibiotic susceptibility testing and Mast pharmaceutical development services.  

You will have a good understanding of the latest technologies used in the diagnosis of infectious disease as well as extensive experience of ‘traditional’ clinical microbiology diagnostics and will lead the scientific teams responsible for AST product development and investigation.
