Microbiology is about to take delivery of a new serology instrument and is expanding its PCR repertoire.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join our Medical Microbiology team. This post is based in bacteriology and will participate in the weekend and bank holiday rota. Our laboratory processes over 120,000 samples per annum and provides a comprehensive service to the Department of Health and Community Services including the assisted reproduction unit, the Jersey Blood Service and island GPs. We are UKAS accredited so experience of working within an established quality management system would be an advantage. You must be HCPC registered with at least 3 years post registration experience in bacteriology and have a specialist diploma or equivalent. Experience in andrology would be an advantage.
