E - Biomedical Scientist
The Laboratory operational working hours will be under review in the near future. An ability to work shifts will be a requirement of the post. A Continuing Professional Development programme is provided and encouragement will be given to develop skills that will assist you in the pursuit of your career ambitions.
Applicants should hold HCPC State Registration and proven experience in Diagnostic Microbiology, whilst procession of an IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Microbiology / Bacteriology is desirable, candidates who are suitably experienced will be considered for this post and support to complete the Specialist Portfolio provided. Candidates who have an interested in IT will be given the opportunity to develop their skills in this area.
Applicants should note that this post is presently going through an organisational change process and relocation to a Hub Laboratory in Ipswich is likely occur in the future.
